vanity, vanity, says the poet, all feels like vanity. looking at the rearview mirror of history, seeing events repeat themselves. how many times do we have to repeat this vicious cycle? how many people will change from being friendly smeagol's to becoming dark gollums, cloaking their misdeeds with friendly faces and servant postures? we are on a sacred journey, no one is fit to wear the ring, except the One found worthy. why do we prefer to wear crowns instead of wash feet? who is our leader? who are we following?
